Emily A’Court

My career in financial services started in 2006 following graduation from the University of Southampton, when I moved back home to Jersey, and began working at Ogier Fiduciary Services (Jersey) Limited (now Elian) as part of their Corporate Services/International Finance team. Here I gained experience working with a variety of corporate structures including private and public companies, limited partnerships, foundations and protected cell companies, across a variety of jurisdictions (including Jersey, Guernsey, Ireland, and Luxembourg) which specialised predominantly in structured debt management.

I left Ogier in 2011, to join State Street (Jersey) Limited. Here I worked as part of a small specialised team which worked to on-board new structures (including unit trusts and expert fund structures) within both the Real Estate and Private Equity departments.

As well as my degree in Applied Social Sciences, I hold the both the Certificate and Diploma in Offshore Finance Administration from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and am currently working towards the completion of the ICSA Chartered Secretaries Qualifying Scheme (CSQS).

I joined BKS in early 2015 and am keen to put my past experience and skill-set to use with our existing and ever increasing client base.
