I retired at the end of September 2012 but am now working as a consultant to BKS.
I qualified as a chartered accountant in 1975 having moved to Jersey in 1973. My accountancy career in Sheffield and Jersey provided the ideal opportunity to gain knowledge and experience with many businesses which ranged from preparing accounts for sole traders to managing the audits of public companies. I joined Walbrook in October 2004 having previously been at The Compendium Trust Company Limited, which after several acquisitions became part of Equity Trust (Jersey) Limited. This part of my career involved looking after trusts and companies for private and corporate clients whose assets included property and investment portfolios. The need to meet clients meant travelling to many countries and as a result made over 25 visits to Israel. I was the deputy managing director of Insinger Trust (Jersey) Limited from 2002 until June 2004. I am a member of STEP and also a member of the IOD.
