After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC), I worked with large US and Global Corporations in the establishment and administration of Captive Insurance structures in Bermuda.  As public companies subject to scrutiny, an attention to detail and accuracy was paramount.  These skills proved invaluable in the move into private client fiduciary work on my return to Jersey in 1996 when I joined Bermuda Trust (Jersey) Limited.  In 2004  I joined the Walbrook Group and worked there until November 2008 where upon I joined Vistra Trust Company (Jersey) Limited to establish and build a family office offering to complement thier existing range of services.  Over the past 15 years, I have specialised in the structuring and administration of  assets for private clients, working closely with third party advisors in implementing legal, tax and investment advice.  I have experience in dealing with clients from all parts of the globe and handling a diverse range of asset types.  This has led to my involvement in areas beyond the usual private client environment, such as the flotation of a real estate fund on AIM and the establishment of a private fund of hedge funds.
