My background is in taxation and particularly in advising high net worth clients on how to establish offshore structures, many of which are in Jersey.  I started my career with the Inland Revenue in 1976 and joined KPMG in London in 1983, ultimately heading up the private client department until 1995, when I transferred to KPMG Hong Kong to become the director heading up their private client services.  In 2001, I took a position in Jersey as a director of Orbis Trustees Jersey Limited, which had been acquired from KPMG by Kleinwort Benson.  In January of 2005, I was asked to join the newly independent Walbrook Group.  Walbrook was acquired by Barclays Wealth in May of 2007 and in May 2008 I became the head of the combined operation in Jersey   I am a member of STEP, the International Institute of Fiscal Advisors and a member of the IOD.
